West Liberty Women’s Soccer Make Midweek Trip To Fairmont State

West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's soccer team returns to action Wednesday with a trip to Fairmont State to face the Falcons in a 7 p.m. start at Duvall-Rosier Field, FSU is 5-0-1 at home this season. The Falcons won the first meeting between the two squads on Sept.15th at the West Family Athletic Complex. The Hilltoppers enter the meeting at 3-8-2 overall and 2-6-2 in Mountain East Conference play.

  • Mia Zecca leads West Liberty in goals (6), points (15), and shots on goal (16), she is T-No.5 in the Mountain East Conference in goals , is No.6 in points per game (1.25), No.7 in shots per game (2.33) and shots on goal per game (1.33) 

  • Ellie Cunningham is second on the team in goals (5) , she leads in total shots (29) and is No.2 in shots on goal (14)

  • Morgan Kost leads the Hilltoppers in assists (4) and is T-No.4 in the MEC in that category

  • Morgan Kost, Isabella Aperfine, and Asia Espiritu are all T-No.3 in goals (3)

  • Cianna Butera leads the MEC in saves per game (6.00) , is No.6 in save percentage (.725), No.9 in goals against average (2.381)

West Liberty will return home to celebrate senior day Sunday at the West Family Athletic Complex when they host Salem at 1 p.m.
