West Liberty, W.Va. – West Liberty University's women's wrestling program is set to make its highly anticipated debut with the release of its inaugural 2024-2025 schedule. The Hilltoppers, led by head coach Troy Bell, are ready to carve out their place in collegiate wrestling history as they prepare for their first competitive season.
The schedule is packed with exciting events, offering the Hilltoppers the opportunity to compete against some of the nation's top programs as they build momentum toward the NCWWC Championships in March. Here's a closer look at their upcoming season:

The historic season will kick off at the Tiffin Open on November 2 in Tiffin, OH, marking the Hilltoppers' first official competition. West Liberty will then travel to Michigan for back-to-back events at the Adrian Duals and Adrian Open on November 9 and 10.
December will be highlighted by the Hilltopper Duals on December 22, marking the team's first-ever home event on campus. The Hilltoppers will also host the Hilltopper Open on January 12, giving fans more chances to witness history in the making.
Coach Bell and his squad will face stiff competition throughout the season, preparing them for the NCWWC Region Four tournament in late February and culminating in the NCWWC Championships in March, where the team hopes to make a strong statement in their inaugural year.
