West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's soccer team fell to Concord 8-3 in Sunday's matinee match at the West Family Athletic Complex. The Hilltoppers opened the scoring in the third minute on a goal from Rylyn Bielinski for a 1-0 lead. The Mountain Lions would take a 2-1 lead but the Hilltoppers would even the score on Mia Zecca's team leading seventh goal of the season in the 29th minute. Concord would score a pair of goals just little more than three minutes apart in the 38th and 42nd minute for 4-2 lead at the half. They would score early in the second half for a 5-2 lead in the 48th minute. Isabella Aperfine would score her fourth goal of the season in the 68th minute for the final Hilltopper tally. With the loss the Toppers slip to 3-8-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the Mountain East Conference.
