Elkins,W.Va. - West Liberty senior Ellie Cunningham scored a pair of goals as the Hilltoppers picked up a 4-2 road win over Davis & Elkins. Cunningham's first of the game came in the 10th minute for a 1-0 lead. The Senators would tie the game less than three-minutes later in the 12th minute and we would go to half time tied. D&E would grab the lead 2-1 in the 49th minute, but the Hilltoppers would not be denied scoring three times in a six minute span. Mia Zecca would score her team leading fifth goal to tie the game in the 66th minute. Cunningham would put the Hilltoppers back in front 3-2 in the 71st minute tying her with Zecca for the team lead in goals with five. Asia Espiritu would close the scoring with her third goal of the season in the 72nd minute. With the win the Hilltoppers improve to 3-7-2 overall and 2-5-2 in Mountain East Conference play.
