Frostburg, Md. – A game removed from the best offensive performance in program history, the West Liberty University women's soccer team was on the opposite side of a high powered offense, falling 3-0 at (RV) Frostburg State on Wednesday evening at Bobcat Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hannah Thompson put Frostburg State up 1-0 in the 13th minute of the game as she collected a deflected pass towards the top of the box and placed the ball in the bottom right corner of the net.
- Amelia Compston tallied the lone shot attempt of the match for West Liberty in the 54th minute, hauling in the throw in pass while cutting through the left side of the box. Her shot was deflected by a pair of Bobcat defenders to set up a Hilltopper corner kick.
- FSU added a pair of goals in the 72nd and 80th minutes. Madison Hinton notched the first goal by taking a short pass from Morgan Mrizek and floating a high arcing shot over the outstretched hands of Zara Wickert. The second goal came from Madison Allen as she collected a cross pass from Lela Clark in front of the net from the left side of the box.
- Wickert's nine saves are her second most of the season and is her third match of the season with eight or more saves.
- Frostburg State held the advantage in shots (26-1), shots-on-goal (12-0), and corner kicks (11-4), while West Liberty held a 9-0 advantage in saves.
