West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team is coming off the best performance in program history on Sunday afternoon, and they look to carry that momentum into Wednesday night's match at (RV) Frostburg State. The Hilltoppers and Bobcats are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Bobcat Stadium in Frostburg, Maryland.

WEST LIBERTY STORYLINES
- West Liberty enters Wednesday's match with a record of 2-2-1 (1-1 MEC) on the season and is tied for third in the North Division of the Mountain East Conference standings with three points.
- The Black & Gold have won two straight games, starting with their first-ever win over Notre Dame in a 2-0 victory last Wednesday night. The Hilltoppers then broke six school records in a 13-0 win over Salem on Sunday afternoon.
- The six school records broken by WLU were the largest margin of victory (13) and the most goals (13), assists (7), points (33), shots (52), and shots-on-goal (30). West Liberty's points, goals, and shots are the most in a single-match in the MEC this season, and in assists they are tied for the most. In the Mountain East Conference single-match record book, the Hilltoppers' eight second half goals are tied for the most by an MEC school all-time in a half, the 13 goals are the second most all-time, the 52 shots are third all-time, and the 33 points are fourth all-time in a single-game.
- In NCAA Division II this season, WLU's 52 shots and 30 shots-on-goal are the most in a single-game, while their 13 goals and 33 points are second, and their seven assists are tied for third nationally. West Liberty is tied for second nationally in scoring offense (3.80), is fifth in points per game (10.20), and is sixth in assists per game (2.60).
- Amelia Compston, Asia Espiritu, and Morgan Kost are all tied for second in the MEC with three goals this season, while Katie Farley, Mia Zecca, and Ellie Cunningham have each found the back of the net twice. Kost leads the league with two game-winning goals this season, both occurring last week in the matches against Notre Dame and Salem.
- Compston is tied for second in the conference with three assists this season, while Farley and Zecca are tied for fourth in the MEC with two assists on the year.
- With three goals and three assists, Compston leads the team with nine points through five matches and ranks third in the MEC. Farley and Zecca both have two goals and two assists for six points and Espiritu and Kost both have three goals for six points to all tie for second on the team in points.
- Zara Wickert started the last three games in goal for West Liberty and has made four appearances on the season, totaling 291 minutes of playing time while making 20 saves on 45 shots faced. Wickert has posted a .952 save percentage and a 0.31 goals against average, both of which lead the conference.
- Following back-to-back shutouts against Notre Dame and Salem last week, Wickert was named the Mountain East Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for the first time in her career. She recorded her second career double digit save game with ten against the Falcons.
- As a team WLU leads the MEC in goals (19) and scoring average (3.80).

- Frostburg State enters Wednesday's match with a record of 5-0 (2-0 MEC) on the season and is tied for first in the North Division of the Mountain East Conference standings.
- FSU is currently receiving votes for the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Rankings, and is No. 4 in the Atlantic Region Top-10 Poll.
- The Bobcats won both of their games on the road last week, defeating Salem (7-0) and Wheeling (3-1).
- Toni Fiocco-Mizer leads Frostburg and the MEC in goals scored with four on the season. Madi Allen is one of three other Bobcat players to have scored multiple goals on the year with three, while Carly Gillette and Lela Calrk have found the back of the net twice.
- Fiocco-Mizer, Morgan Mrizek, and Hannah Thompson have tallied a team-high of two assists on the year.
- Fiocco-Mizer has totaled ten points on the season with her four goals and two assists, leading the Bobcats and tying for the conference lead.
- Ashley Bilger has started all five matches in goal, playing 389 minutes for FSU. She has made six saves on 14 shots faced, posting a .750 save percentage and a 0.463 goals against average that ranks third in the league.
