HOW IT HAPPENED

The scoring opportunity started with Ellie Cunningham firing a shot toward the top of the goal, but Pasalaqua was able to react in time and knock the ball out of play. On the WLU corner kick, Brighton received the pass in from Compston and headed the ball into the left side of the net.
- Zara Wickert recorded her third career shutout and first of the season for the Black & Gold, making five saves in both the first and second halves of play. Wednesday's match also marked only the second time in her career that she reached double digit saves in a game with ten on the night.
