West Liberty, W.Va. – After opening the season with three Mountain East Conference match-ups, the West Liberty University men's soccer team will play their first non-conference game of the season as they travel to California (PA) on Wednesday evening. The Hilltoppers and Vulcans are set for a 5 p.m. kick-off at the Phillipsburg Soccer Facility in California, Pennsylvania.

WEST LIBERTY STORYLINES

• West Liberty enters Wednesday's match with a record of 1-1-1 (1-1-1 MEC) on the season and is currently tied for second in the Mountain East Conference standings with four points through three matches.
• In their last game, the Hilltoppers fell to No. 15 Notre Dame at the West Family Athletic Complex with the lone goal of the game for the Falcons coming by way of a penalty kick in the 34^th minute.
• WLU has seen five different players score goals for them this season, led by Zachary Forehand who has found the back of the net twice. Vitor Otsuka, Tim Stickland, Mark Donnelly, and Federico Murrau have all scored one goal in the first three games of the season.

WLU's four assists against D&E is tied for the most by an MEC school this season and their four goals against the Senators are tied for second most by an MEC school in a game this season.
• Through three matches, West Liberty has held the advantage in goals (6-3), assists (4-1), shots (35-34), corner kicks (18-16), and saves (16-11). They are even with their opponents with 19 shots-on-goal apiece.

• Sean Regan is in his fifth season as the head coach at West Liberty with a record of 17-42-6 with the Hilltoppers.
