FROSTBURG, Md. - The West Liberty University women's tennis team rolled to a 6-1 victory Thursday evening on the road at Frostburg State.

Gemma Cliffe (6-3) and
Ishika Agarwal and Emily Beynon (6-1) out of the #1 and #3 spots.
Arnal battled out a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 win to claim the top spot in singles, as West Liberty went on to win five of the six 1v1 matches, all in straight sets.
Cliffe cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 triumph in the second singles match. Natalia Valencia earned a 6-4, 6-2 win in the #3 spot. Then after Frostburg State battled out a three-setter at #4, Agarwal (6-0, 6-3) and Beynon (6-2, 6-0) closed out the match with convincing wins in the #5 and #6 positions.
West Liberty improves to 7-2 on the season and 3-0 in conference play. The Hilltoppers will be back on the court at Mercyhurst next Friday (March 24) at 6 pm.
