Bridgeport, W.Va. – On Monday afternoon West Liberty's Nyia Setla earned her fourth Mountain East Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor of the 2023 season, presented by The Health Plan. Setla has earned a league high four player of the week honors this season for the Hilltoppers, double that of any other player in the conference.

• Helped West Liberty post a record of 2-0 on the week as they swept Salem and defeated Fairmont State in 4-sets.
• Recorded 35 digs (5.00 digs per set), six assists (0.86 assists per set), two service aces (0.29 aces per set), and one kill during the week.
• Notched 14 digs against the Tigers and 21 against the Falcons.
• Has posted 12 matches of 20 or more digs on the season.
