Bridgeport, W.Va. – After playing to a draw in the first meeting this season, the West Liberty University men's soccer team and Salem were even once again after another 90 minutes of game time, this time at 2-2. While the Hilltoppers struck first in the closing seconds of the first half, the Tigers out-scored WLU 2-1 in the second half to force the tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mark Donnelly put West Liberty on the board first in the closing seconds of the first half, collecting a ball that had been cleared by a Salem defender and fired a shot that deflected into the net off the left post.
- Salem evened the match at one goal a piece in the 50th minute, as Enzo Lira de Paula made a high, lofting pass over the head of the WLU defenders and goalkeeper to Valentin Fritz who placed the ball in the net.
- Oskar Voges scored his second goal of the season to put the Hilltoppers back in front at 2-1 in the 64th minute. Vitor Otsuka found Voges on a long pass cutting through the defense and then went on to place the ball past a sliding Salem goalkeeper into the right side of the net.
- The Tigers once again evened the match in the 78th minute at two goals apiece. On a corner kick set David Teruel Nuno's pass was headed in the near post by Andrea Fincato.
- West Liberty held the advantage in corner kicks (6-5) and saves (9-3), while Salem held the edge in shots (16-9) and shots-on-goal (11-5).
