WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University Women's Soccer team has released its schedule for the 2022 season. The slate features 18 games, including nine on the home turf at West Family Athletic Complex, and will kick-off on August 25 in Greensburg, Pa. against Seton Hill University. 

The Hilltoppers begin Mountain East Conference play on September 7 at home versus Notre Dame College under the lights at West Family Athletic Complex. WLU will take on each of their MEC North Division foes in a home and away match throughout the campaign.

After traveling to Alderson Broaddus on September 11, the 'Toppers will host the reigning North Division Champions Frostburg State on September 14.

A three-game road trip ensues over the following week, bookended by Sunday matches at Fairmont State and Notre Dame, along with a midweek visit to Wheeling.

AB comes to town on September 28 and Fairmont State on October 9. The Hilltoppers trek to Frostburg State on the 12th for their last divisional road contest.

West Liberty flips last year's schedule with the South Division. The Hilltoppers host Charleston, Glenville State, and West Virginia Wesleyan, then travel to West Virginia State, Concord, and Davis & Elkins. Interdivisional matchups start October 1 on the home turf against Charleston, then continue on the 5th at WVSU before finishing with four straight in a 10-day span from October 16 to 26 beginning on the road at the defending MEC Champion Concord.

The regular season wraps up with a home match on October 29 against Wheeling for senior day.

Prior to MEC play, the 'Toppers host Salem (W.Va.) on September 3 for their second of two non-conference matches.

After just missing out last season, WLU will strive to return to the MEC postseason for the first time since 2018. The MEC tournament is scheduled for November 1-6.
