WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University softball coaches and players will host a number of youth clinics and camps at the WLU Softball Complex during the month of June.
A trio of evening hitting clinics are on tap for June 9, June 15 and June 23. The 90-minute clinics will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and are open to all area softball players aged 5-15.
Cost of the hitting clinics is $20 each and they will be held rain or shine, with activities moving to the adjacent Belmont Savings Bank Practice Facility in case of precipitation.

Herb Minch has also scheduled an instructional Day Camp on June 15 on the university campus. The camp will be open to all players aged 12-and-over and will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch is included with the $60 enrollment fee.
Minch will join with his coaches and players to teach and develop proper fundamentals in all aspects of the game including pitching, hitting, fielding and base-running. Once again, the Belmont Savings Bank Practice Facility will be available in case of rain.
With well over 500 career victories, Minch is one of the winningest college coaches in the Atlantic Region. His Hilltoppers have won three consecutive Mountain East Conference North Division titles and are coming off their third straight 30-win season.
