WHEELING, W.Va. – The No. 3-seeded West Liberty women will take on No. 2 seed Charleston Saturday in search of their 22nd win of the season and a berth in Sunday's Mountain East Conference Tournament championship game. Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m. inside the ASRC.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (21-8) won their 5th straight on Thursday, leading by as many as 19 points in the second half before holding off a Fairmont State rally in a thrilling 79-70 quarterfinal win.
Audrey Tingle led four double-figure scorers for West Liberty with 18 points.
The defending tournament champion Golden Eagles (19-8) never trailed in blasting W.Va. State, 82-58, behind Clarrissa Francis' 20-point, 10-rebound double-double.
The WLU-Charleston winner advances to Sunday's 2 p.m. championship game against the survivor of Saturday's first semifinal between top-seeded and No. 1-ranked Glenville State (28-0) and No. 5 seed Notre Dame (15-13).
