ATHENS, W.Va. – With the regular season rapidly drawing to a close, the West Liberty women make the long trek south today for a critical Mountain East Conference matchup at Concord. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. inside the Carter Center.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers 16-7, 11-6) battled No. 1 Glenville State to the wire on Wednesday but came out on the short end of a 92-83 tally.
Audrey Tingle led WLU with 26 points – 22 in the first half – and 8 rebounds.
The Mountain Lions (15-9, 9-8) couldn't dig out of a 16-point fourth-quarter hole and fell, 78-72, at Wheeling. Maggie Guynn had 22 points and Alexis Phillips had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.
