WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - The West Liberty University volleyball team completed a Senior Night sweep of Frostburg State this evening inside the Academic, Sports, and Recreation Center.
Nina Billotto had eight kills in the opening set to propel the Hilltoppers to the 1-0 lead. West Liberty jumped up 11-5 and never looked back on way to the 10-point win (25-15).
The Hilltoppers got up 15-2 in set two behind early 8-0 and 7-0 runs. Frostburg State battled back into the set, but the lead was just too much as West Liberty took it 25-18.
The Black and Gold finished the sweep with a 25-21 third set victory. Each team had late runs, but a pair of
Kirsten Bogunovich kills halted the Bobcat comeback.
Billotto ended her Senior Night with a match and season high 14 kills and four blocks.
Ruby Countryman and
Liv McAtee added nine kills apiece. Countryman did not commit a single error finishing the match hitting .529, while McAtee ended with a .400 hitting percentage making just one error.
Bogunovich dished out a season-high 29 assists. Libero
Nyia Setla led a trio of Hilltoppers with double-digit kills with 24.

Ashton Wronikowski.
West Liberty will be back in action on Tuesday at Fairmont State to kick off the final week of the regular season.
