GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The West Liberty women face a big road challenge this afternoon when they head south to take on unbeaten and No. 5-ranked Glenville State. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. inside the Waco Center.
Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (9-4, 4-3) are coming off an 88-81 loss to Concord on Wednesday. Playing without 3 injured starters, WLU battled the Mountain Lions to the wire behind a career-high 32 points from Corinne Thomas and Audrey Tingle's triple-double (15 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists).
The high-flying Pioneers (11-0, 6-0) set an MEC scoring record on Wednesday with a 141-55 blowout win at Wheeling. Re'Shawna Stone and Zakiyah Winfield each tossed in 29 points to lead Glenville State.
