WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – What shapes up as one of the biggest games of the year in the Mountain East Conference tips off inside the ASRC this afternoon as No. 8 West Liberty hosts No. 18 Fairmont State. Game time is set for 4 p.m.

Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (14-1, 8-1) are coming off their 10th straight win, a 124-88 blowout at Frostburg State on Wednesday. Marlon Moore's 18 points paced eight double-figure scorers for WLU.
The Falcons (12-2, 7-2) cruised to their 5th consecutive victory on Wednesday, easing past Wheeling, 95-84. Cole VonHandorf poured in 22 points and George Mangas added 21 more as Fairmont State shot a blistering 65.5 percent (38-of-58) from the floor.
