    BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Liberty University baseball's Tyler Blomquist is the Mountain East Conference Pitcher of the Week after throwing a no-hit gem against Fairmont State.
    The senior righthander from St. Clairsville, Ohio rode into the history books with a 6-0 shutout on Sunday. Blomquist became the first WLU pitcher to hurl a road no-hitter in more than three decades.
    Blomquist struck out 10 batters and walked 6 to help the Hilltoppers move into sole possession of second place in the MEC North Division.
    The Hilltoppers are back at Kovalick Field on Friday playing host to North Division leader Wheeling in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
