WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's tennis team fell to Salem University by a 6-1 count here Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex.
The visiting Tigers (6-4) swept all three doubles matches to take the doubles point and followed that up by winning five of the six singles matches.
Senior
Anton Schulz helped the Hilltoppers (4-6) avoid the shutout with a straight-set win against Salem's Anas Haddou at No. 2 singles.
The West Liberty men return to Mountain East Conference action on Friday with a 3 p.m. match at Fairmont State.
