    WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The No. 19-ranked West Liberty men open their Mountain East Conference Tournament title defense today against a dangerous Concord squad.
    Coach Ben Howlett's MEC North Division champion Hilltoppers (13-3) ride a 9-game winning streak into this weekend's event after handing Wheeling a 107-88 setback on Saturday. Dalton Bolon and Pat Robinson paced six double-figure scorers with 24 and 23 points, respectively.
    The Mountain Lions (9-7), have won five of their last six, punching their ticket to Wheeling on Monday with a 107-100 double-overtime win against Davis & Elkins in a first-round game. Malik Johnson had 29 points and Ethan Heller added 28 in the marathon thriller.
