WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The surging West Liberty University women's basketball team faces a stiff challenge tonight when defending NCAA Division II Atlantic Region champion Charleston invades the ASRC. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
Saturday's 90-50 win against Davis & Elkins was the 5th in the last 6 games for Coach
Kyle Cooper's youthful Black and Gold (5-2, 3-1).
Corinne Thomas led the way with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists,
Karly McCutcheon added 19 points with 5 3-pointers and
Audrey Tingle had 15 points and 11 boards.
The Golden Eagles (4-4, 2-2) breezed to an 81-63 road win at Frostburg State. Clarissa Francis paced four double-figure scorers with a game-high 19 points.
