WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the ASRC this afternoon to take on Mountain East Conference foe Davis & Elkins. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
Coach
Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (4-2, 2-1) turned in a sterling defensive effort at W.Va. Wesleyan on Wednesday, holding the Bobcats to 25 percent shooting in a 70-44 runaway win.
Bailee Smith and
Karly McCutcheon led the attack with 19 and 17 points, respectively.
The Senators (1-5, 0-3) suffered their fourth straight loss on Wednesday, falling to Wheeling by an 82-54 tally in Elkins. Dream Cherry had a game-high 16 points for Davis & Elkins.
