Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (6-1, 2-1) exploded for 73 first-half points on Wednesday and cruised to a 120-72 victory at W.Va. Wesleyan.
Garrett Denbow came off the bench to hit four 3-pointers and lead six double-figure scorers with 16 points.
The Senators (2-4, 1-2) dropped a 78-75 heartbreaker when Wheeling hit a 3-pointer with time running out to snap a 75-75 tie. Sam Rolle IV had 23 points and 11 assists while Breland Walton added 17 points and 17 rebounds in a losing cause.
