Hilltoppers Open MEC Slate at Home against Alderson Broaddus

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The nationally-ranked West Liberty men's basketball team tips off its Mountain East Conference season at home this afternoon when WLU welcomes Alderson Broaddus to the ASRC. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (3-0) rolled to their third straight win on Wednesday, pulling away to a 95-83 decision at regionally-ranked Pitt-Johnstown. Pat Robinson led a balanced attack with 21 points while Marlon Moore Jr. sparked a second-half surge with a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double.
Coach Stephen Dye's Battlers (2-1) are coming off an impressive non-conference win of their own, a 90-79 romp past Ohio Dominican on Wednesday night in Philippi. Eman Eman scored 20 points in 20 minutes off the bench to pace five double-figure scorers for AB.
