ERIE, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's basketball team tips off the 2021-22 season tonight against perennial NCAA Division II power California (Pa.) in the second game of the Atlantic Region Crossover event.
Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. inside the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers return three starters from the Spring 2021 team that finished second in the MEC North Division.
Coach Jess Strom's Vulcans were forced to sit out the entire 2020-21 season but Strom welcomes back four starters from her 2019-20 team that earned an NCAA Division II Tournament bid but didn't get to play after the NCAA canceled all winter sports championships due to the pandemic.
