Box Score     FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The West Liberty University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 road decision at Fairmont State on Tuesday night in a meeting of Mountain East Conference North Division rivals.
    Coach Riley Schenk's Hilltoppers (10-9, 1-2) battled the host Falcons (11-5, 2-1) to the wire in the opening set before the hosts escaped with a 25-22 win. Fairmont controlled the second set from start to finish, rolling to a 25-14 verdict to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
    The Black and Gold battled back in the third set but couldn't get over the hump as the Falcons finished strong for a 25-21 win to complete the sweep.
