CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference gauntlet continues for the No. 9 West Liberty men with today's drive south to take on a surging Charleston squad.
Tipoff is set for 4:30 p.m. inside the Wehrle Innovation Center but in accordance with the MEC's safe competition guidelines, no spectators will be permitted inside the arena.
West Virginia State shot a blistering 71 percent from the floor in the second half Wednesday to hand Coach
Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (4-2) a rare second consecutive loss, 100-96. West Liberty got a game-high 29 points from
Dalton Bolon and 25 more from
Pat Robinson III.
The Golden Eagles (5-2) rolled to their fifth straight win on Wednesday, blasting Frostburg State by a 98-66 tally. Five UC players scored in double-figures with Seth O'Neal dishing out 10 assists and Eddie Colbert grabbing 13 rebounds.
West Liberty fans can follow the Black and Gold online through a variety of platforms.
