WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty women will need to pump the brakes on yet another high-powered offense tonight when a streaking West Virginia State team invades the ASRC.
Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. but in accordance with the MEC's safe competition guidelines, no spectators will be permitted inside the arena.
Coach
Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (2-4) went toe-to-toe with Glenville State on Saturday before the Pioneers escaped with a 101-98 verdict.
Olivia Belknap led the way for the Black and Gold with 22 points while
Arriana Manzay added 19 points and 9 rebounds.
The Yellow Jackets (3-3) raced away to their third straight win on Saturday, blasting Davis & Elkins, 120-77. Charity Shears drained an MEC season-high eight 3-point bombs to tally a game-high 24 points as WVSU blew past the century mark for the third consecutive game.
Coach Cooper took a few minutes out of his Tuesday game prep to preview tonight's game. Click on the photo above to hear his thoughts.
