FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The West Liberty women will be going for a season split today when they travel to Fairmont State. Tipoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at Joe Retton Arena.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (10-15, 6-13) used a strong second half to rally past Frostburg State, 68-65, on Wednesday.
Olivia Belknap and
Morgan Brunner paced the Black and Gold with 18 and 15 points, respectively.
The Falcons (13-12, 10-9) cruised to a 77-65 win at Wheeling on Wednesday. Rachel Laskody had 18 points while Kamrin Weimer (16) and Sierra Kotchman (15) also reached double figures.
This is the 81st meeting between the two programs since women's basketball became an official West Virginia Conference sport in 1981. The Hilltoppers have come out on top in 10 of the last 14 matchups to open up a 43-37 lead in the series.
