GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The No. 25-ranked West Liberty men's basketball team looks to take one step closer to a third straight Mountain East Conference title in tonight's trip to high-scoring Glenville State. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Waco Center.

Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (18-4, 13-3) took a 2-game lead in the MEC on Sunday with an 89-79 victory in a Top 25 showdown against Charleston at the ASRC. Pat Robinson scored 22 points and
Will Yoakum added 17 as the Hilltoppers earned their 12th win in the last 13 games.
Frostburg State scored at the buzzer to hand the Pioneers (13-9, 10-6) a surprising 74-72 setback on Saturday. Steve Verplancken had 20 points and 11 boards to lead a short-handed Glenville squad.
This is the 145th meeting between the two teams in a series that dates back nearly a century to its inception during the 1923-24 season.
West Liberty swept last year's two contests and has won 24 of the last 27 encounters to take a 73-71 lead in the all-time series. That includes a 129-89 Hilltopper romp in this season's first encounter back on Jan. 11 inside the ASRC.
