ATHENS, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women open second semester play on the road tonight with a key Mountain East Conference showdown against a surging Concord squad. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Carter Center.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (6-6, 2-4) closed out their non-league slate on Dec. 20 with an impressive 82-76 win at Malone (Ohio).
Morgan Brunner led all scorers with a season-high 7 3-pointers and 30 points as WLU shot better than 50 percent (26-of-50) from the floor for the first time this season.
The Mountain Lions (8-3, 5-1) are also coming off a lengthy layoff but have won 6 of their last 7 following a 73-62 romp at Salem on Dec. 18. Maggie Guynn tallied 21 points to pace four double-figure scorers.
This is the 54th meeting between the two schools since the 1981-82 season. West Liberty has won 33 of the last 38 to take a 36-17 lead in the series.
