WHEELING, W.Va. – The West Liberty men take their 8-game winning streak on the shortest road trip of the season today for a rare Sunday game at Wheeling. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. at the McDonough Center.

Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (14-3, 9-2) extended their second-semester surge on Wednesday with a 99-70 rout of Urbana at the ASRC.

The Cardinals (9-6, 6-5) dropped their second straight on Wednesday, falling by a 72-62 count at Notre Dame (Ohio.) Jarett Haines and Jordan Reid had 15 points each while newcomer Geron Brathwaite knocked down a dozen points off the bench.
This is the 160th encounter between the Ohio County rivals since then-Wheeling College made its men's basketball debut in the 1958-59 season. West Liberty has won 20 of the last 26 matchups and 27 of the last 34 to take a commanding 90-69 all-time lead.
