Coach
Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (12-3, 7-2) are coming off their 6th straight win, a well-earned 105-99 victory against Fairmont State on Wednesday.
Pat Robinson III and
Preston Boswell led the way with 23 and 20 points, respectively, as the Black and Gold never trailed.
The Bobcats (6-9, 3-6) dropped their second straight on Wednesday, falling by a 75-61 count at Wheeling despite a game-high 35 points from Daniel Alexander.
West Liberty is 6-0 all-time against Frostburg State but this will be the first meeting in more than four decades. The sporadic series began with a 76-61 Hilltopper win in 1942 and went on hold following an 80-70 Hilltopper decision in 1976.
