    WHEELING, W.Va. – The No. 4-seeded West Liberty women will close out the Mountain East Conference Tournament's quarterfinal round on Thursday night against No. 5 seed Notre Dame. Tipoff is set for 8:15 p.m. at WesBanco Arena.

    The Hilltoppers are coming off a thrilling 73-72 win at Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday. Marissa Brown, who led the way with 24 points, 16 rebounds and 9 blocks, hit the game-winner at the buzzer for WLU's 11th win in the last 12 games and their 20^th win of the season.
    The Falcons didn't lack for excitement in their season finale, setting a school single-game scoring record in a 110-70 blowout of Urbana on Saturday behind Kyleigh Ramlow's seven 3-point field goals and game-high 26 points.
    The teams split their regular season meetings. Notre Dame took an 89-84 December decision in South Euclid, Ohio with West Liberty pulling out a 107-92 overtime victory last Wednesday inside the ASRC.
