INDIANA, Pa. – A "Sweet 16" berth will be on the line today at 5 p.m. when No. 9 West Liberty challenges No. 13 Virginia State in an NCAA Division II Atlantic Region semifinal at the Kovalchick Center on the campus of Indiana (Pa.) University.

Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (27-4) earned their spot with a 106-99 overtime win against defending regional champion East Stroudsburg, 106-99, in Saturday's quarterfinal action.
Dalton Bolon poured in 29 points while
Eric Meininger added 19 points and 8 assists for the Black and Gold, which stormed back from an 11-point halftime deficit.
Coach Lonnie Blow's Virginia State (28-4) squad was held scoreless for the first seven minutes of its game against Notre Dame but erased the resulting 12-0 deficit before halftime and led by as many as 21 points in the second half in an impressive turnaround. Brandon Holley hit five 3-pointers and scored 18 points to pace the senior-dominated Trojan squad.
No. 1 seed and host Indiana, Pa. (30-2) takes on No. 4 seed Mercyhurst (24-6) in tonight's 7:30 p.m. semifinal with the winners advancing to Tuesday's regional championship game, set for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
