High-Scoring Mountain Lions to Test No. 5 WLU

    ATHENS, W.Va. – The No. 5-ranked West Liberty men will put their 11-game winning streak on the line here Saturday afternoon when they take on a dangerous Concord squad. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. at the Carter Center.

    Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (18-2, 13-1) outgunned UVa-Wise, 112-100, on Thursday as Dalton Bolon matched his career-high of 31 points for the second straight game. Eric Meininger and Yahel Hill added 19 and 17 points, respectively, while Will Yoakum chipped in with 14.
    The high-scoring Mountain Lions (14-7, 9-6), who carried West Liberty to double-overtime before falling, 109-108, last month at the ASRC, were upset by Wheeling Jesuit, 98-89, on Thursday. Jair Rodgers scored a career-high 34 points and Tommy Bolte added 22 more in a losing cause.
