    WISE, Va. – The fast-rising West Liberty University women's basketball team takes its 4-game winning streak on the road Thursday night when the Black and Gold visit UVa-Wise. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Prior Center.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Lady Hilltoppers (13-7, 10-4) are looking to complete a season sweep of the series after holding off the Virginia squad, 78-73, in this year's first meeting at the ASRC. The Black and Gold used a strong second half surge to hand Fairmont State a 75-65 setback on Saturday. Marissa Brown earned her fourth MEC Player of the Week honor with a 39-point, 15-rebound performance.
    The Cavaliers (9-11, 7-7) had won 3 of their last 4 games before dropping a 95-59 road verdict at powerful Glenville on Saturday. Ada Stanley had 20 points off the bench in a losing cause.
