WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – A red-hot Notre Dame team will be dribbling into the ASRC to challenge No. 7 West Liberty Wednesday night in a game with Mountain East Conference and Atlantic Region post-season implications. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the ASRC.

Ben Howlett's West Liberty (22-3, 18-2) squad can clinch its second straight outright MEC title and the top seed in next week's MEC Tournament with a win on Wednesday. Both teams are also battling for regional tournament berths with the Hilltoppers ranked No. 2 and the Falcons (19-7, 15-5) checking in at No. 6 in last week's first set of Atlantic Region rankings.
West Liberty is coming off a 98-77 blowout win at Glenville State on Saturday afternoon.

Notre Dame had its 6-game winning streak snapped on Saturday when UVa-Wise held on down the stretch to pull off a 92-87 upset. Will Vorhees poured in 37 points and Drew Scarberry added 21 more in a losing cause.
