WLU Women Challenge No. 21 Glenville State

    GLENVILLE, W.Va. – A pair of regionally-ranked squads collide in a battle of Mountain East Conference powers here Saturday afternoon as the West Liberty women travel to No. 21 Glenville State. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at the Waco Center.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (18-7, 15-4) will be trying to avenge an early-season loss to the Pioneers, coming out on the short end of a 122-105 shootout at the ASRC on Nov. 17. West Liberty is riding a 9-game winning streak after a 71-56 victory against W.Va. Wesleyan on Wednesday. Marissa Brown had a game-high 22 points and Audrey Tingle tied her season-high with 13 assists.
    The nationally-ranked Pioneers (23-2, 18-1), who have already clinched the MEC regular-season title, breezed past Wheeling Jesuit, 91-66, on Wednesday for their 13th straight win. Emily Stoller had 20 points while Zakiyah Winfield and Re'Shawna Stone added 18 each.
