    ELKINS, W.Va. – The West Liberty women find themselves back on the Mountain East Conference road this afternoon to take on Davis & Elkins. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at the McDonnell Center.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (4-3, 1-2) are coming off an impressive 82-51 dismantling of W.Va. Wesleyan on Wednesday. Morgan Brunner paced four double-figure scorers with 18 points and 10 rebounds while the WLU defense held the Bobcats under 30 percent shooting for the night.
    The Senators (1-6, 1-2) snapped a season-opening 6-game losing streak on Wednesday with a convincing 68-59 win against Wheeling. Jamiyah Johnson dominated with 14 points and 16 rebounds.
    This is the 44th time these former WVIAC rivals have met but it's their first encounter as MEC foes. West Liberty holds a commanding 31-12 lead in the all-time series but the Senators have won the last three meetings.
