No. 14 Hilltoppers Look to Bounce Back in Elkins

    ELKINS, W.Va. – The No. 14 West Liberty men look to bounce back from a rare home loss this afternoon when they visit old friend – and new MEC member – Davis & Elkins. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. at the McDonnell Center.

    W.Va. Wesleyan shot an astounding 80 percent from the floor in the second half and hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to stun WLU, 94-91, on Wednesday. Dalton Bolon's 19 points paced five double-figure scorers for Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (5-2, 2-1).
    The Senators are coming off a nail-biting 74-73 win against Wheeling on Wednesday. Donte Doleman poured in a game-high 24 points while Erkam Kiris added 17 points and 8 boards.
    This is the 107th meeting between the two schools. West Liberty has a whopping 77-29 advantage in the lengthy series.
