WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The No. 14-ranked West Liberty men swing back into action tonight when they host MEC rival West Virginia Wesleyan. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the ASRC.

Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (5-1, 2-0) have been idle since coasting to a 96-70 win against Notre Dame (Ohio) on Nov. 26. Will Yoakum tossed in 19 points and Marlon Moore had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Hilltoppers shot nearly 60 percent from the floor.
The Bobcats (1-6, 1-1) led virtually wire-to-wire until Fairmont State drained a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to hand Wesleyan a heartbreaking 75-72 loss. The Bobcats got 18 points from Luka Petrovic while Ross Young had a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
This is the 137th meeting between the two programs since the series tipped off at the end of the 1934-35 season. West Liberty has won 28 of the last 29 encounters to take a 70-66 lead in the all-time series.
