    WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty men hope to close out their pre-Christmas schedule on a high note this afternoon when they welcome Ohio Dominican to the ASRC for a non-conference game. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.

    It's a quick turnaround for Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (8-3), who blasted Ohio Valley, 103-55, here on Thursday night. Dalton Bolon paced five double-figure scorers for WLU with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds.
    The Panthers (4-8) were held to a season-low 29 percent shooting from the floor in a 70-48 loss at Walsh (Ohio) on Monday. Sam Hickey and Hasan Varence led ODU with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
    This is only the third meeting between the two schools and the first in nearly three decades. West Liberty beat Ohio Dominican, 87-74, in a 1972-73 season opener and the Panthers prevailed, 93-77, in a 1991-92 Christmas holiday tournament.
