CLEVELAND – The West Liberty women will try to cool off a red-hot Walsh team this afternoon on the home court of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. inside the state-of-the-art Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (5-5) dropped an 87-80 decision to West Virginia State on Saturday.
Morgan Brunner and
Taylor Johnson led the way with 19 and 17 points, respectively.
Walsh (9-2) is coming off its fourth straight win, having powered past Ohio Dominican, 88-72, on Monday. Tyler Newkirk went 8-for-8 from the floor (5-for-5 on 3FGs) to lead all scorers with 25 points while Quionche Carter added 20 more.
This is only the fourth meeting between the two programs with the Lady Hilltoppers having won two of the previous three encounters
The Lady Cavaliers notched their first win in the series exactly one year ago today, handing West Liberty an 86-65 setback at the ASRC on Dec. 18, 2018.
