AMHERST, N.Y. – The unbeaten and No. 4-ranked West Liberty men make the long trek north to the Empire State this afternoon to take on No. 22 Daemen in an early-season clash of NCAA Division II Top 25 powers. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at Lumsden Gymnasium.

Ben Howlett's Black and Gold (2-0) capped a sweep of the Atlantic Region Challenge on Sunday with a 132-85 thrashing of Shaw (N.C.) in Charlotte.

Dalton Bolon led West Liberty with 22 and 20 points, respectively, as no Hilltopper starter played more than 18 minutes.
The Wildcats (4-1) won their fourth straight game Thursday, edging defending NCAA Division II Atlantic Region champion Mercyhurst (Pa.), 67-65. All-American center Andrew Sischo had 22 points and Joey Wallace added 18 for the hosts.
