    WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty women tip off the second semester of Mountain East Conference play at home Thursday night against West Virginia State.
    Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the ASRC.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (7-5, 4-2) had won three of their last four outings before dropping an 86-65 non-conference decision to Walsh (Ohio) on Dec. 18. Marissa Brown had 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocked shots in a losing cause.
    The Yellow Jackets (3-9, 2-4) are coming off a 106-96 loss at Elizabeth City State on Friday. Freshman Charity Sears knocked down a school-record 8 3-point field goals and led all scorers with a career-high 30 points.
