No. 8 West Liberty Hits the Road on Wednesday

    URBANA, Ohio – The No. 8-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team puts its Top 10 national ranking and share of the MEC lead on the line Wednesday when it makes the long journey west to take on Urbana.
    Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Grimes Center.

    Coach Ben Howlett's Hilltoppers (13-2, 9-1) are looking to sweep the season series after rolling to a 97-73 win at the ASRC on Nov. 28. West Liberty is coming off a wild 109-108 double-overtime win against Concord on Saturday. Dalton Bolon led six double-figure scorers with 27 points as WLU won for the 13th time in its last 14 outings.
    The Blue Knights (5-9, 3-7) had won 3 of their last 4 games – including a road win at Fairmont State – before falling at Shepherd, 78-66, on Saturday. Matt Treacy hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 points to lead Urbana.
