    WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty women will be trying to cool off a surging Concord squad in a crucial MEC showdown Saturday afternoon at the ASRC. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. tipoff.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (9-6, 6-3) gutted out a 78-73 win against UVa-Wise on Thursday. Marissa Brown had 29 points and 13 rebounds while Morgan Brunner drained 5 3-pointers and finished with 19 points.
    The Mountain Lions (11-3, 7-2) rolled to their sixth straight win on Thursday, blasting Wheeling Jesuit by a 90-51 tally. Andreanna Pool and Riley Fitzwater tossed in 21 points each to lead the way as Concord shot nearly 60 percent from the floor.
