    WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Two teams coming off frustrating losses will be looking to rebound on Thursday night when the West Liberty University women host UVa-Wise in Mountain East Conference action.
    Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the ASRC.

    Coach Kyle Cooper's Hilltoppers (8-6, 5-3) saw an upset bid fall just short on Saturday in an 87-84 loss at No. 25-ranked Charleston. Brandon Beader's 20 points paced four double-figure scorers for the Black and Gold but it wasn't enough as UC rallied from a 25-point second half deficit to pull out the win.
               The Cavaliers (6-8, 4-4) can tell a similar tale as Shepherd scored 20 of the game's last 24 points on Saturday to come from behind for a 64-53 victory at UVa-Wise. Kalee Johnson had a team-high 11 points while Cynita Webb added 10 points and 11 rebounds in a losing cause.
